About us
Before there is a garment, there is a painting.
Every print you see on a Raiman piece begins exactly that way, motifs drawn and painted by me. Flowers that lean a little sideways. Creatures that seem to carry a secret. Botanicals borrowed from somewhere between a garden and a dream, motifs found in a flea market ceramic or a forgotten pattern. Nothing arrives from nowhere. Only once the painting feels right does it travel onto fabric, translated carefully so nothing of the original gets lost.
A NIFT Delhi graduate with an obsession for artists who find poetry in ordinary, everyday things (a painted bird, a vintage floral, a naive little motif that somehow stops you mid scroll), I started Raiman in 2016 convinced that a print could do more than decorate. It could make you feel something.
What I design are relaxed, easy pieces. Shirts, dresses, separates that move with you whether you're at your desk, on a holiday, or somewhere beautifully in between. Whimsical enough to make someone across the room ask where did you get that, practical enough that you actually reach for them again and again.
Everything at Raiman is made to order, on natural fabrics, in sizes that don't leave anyone out. Nothing is rushed. Nothing sits in a warehouse. Each piece is made because someone wanted it, which means every order matters to me personally.
It's clothing, made from art, for the everyday, the celebrations, and everything in between.
